The red Hawaiian salt from Bazar Manufactory is made on the Pacific coast off the island of Molokai . In a gentle process, filtered Pacific water is evaporated using solar energy and the salt crystals obtained are mixed with mineral extracts and volcanic earth . The red Hawaiian salt gets its reddish color from the iron oxide it contains.
